SITUATION

A US-based small-cap pharmaceutical company with a preclinical asset sought guidance on partnership opportunities with larger companies, several of which showed interest in licensing the drug or acquiring the company outright.

OUR ROLE

We performed a topline market assessment and disease indication prioritization, followed by the development of a robust valuation model and deal term analysis. We also developed alternative scenarios to inform discussions with potential partners.

IMPACT

Our research, recommendations, and detailed deal term model enabled the client to navigate alliance discussions and maximize partnership value.
