SITUATION

The commercial assessment and business development group of a large-cap pharmaceutical manufacturer sought to evaluate potential licensing and acquisition opportunities within the central nervous system (CNS) market.

OUR ROLE

We performed an initial analysis to prioritize areas within the CNS market and then constructed and validated comprehensive market landscapes and business cases for products within prioritized markets. Using evaluation metrics such as market saturation, pipeline activity, and acquisition potential, we delivered a robust framework that could be applied to any potential L&A targets in future strategy development discussions.

IMPACT

Our analysis identified significant upside revenue potential product opportunities within two interconnected therapeutic areas, enabling the client to pursue strategic acquisitions and prioritize future indication targets.
