A global life science research company aimed to identify innovative AI-focused drug development companies for potential acquisition or investment to bolster its leadership in chemistry and bioinformatics.
OUR ROLE
By utilizing an adaptive framework incorporating specific criteria, we screened and prioritized thousands of companies. To further refine the universe of potential targets we completed additional secondary analyses as well as qualitative primary market research with company executives, subject matter experts, key opinion leaders, and investors. This approach facilitated the identification of promising targets aligned with the client's strategic objectives.

The outputs from these workstreams were used to generate corporate profiles for a more complete picture of which opportunity could best build out our client’s suite of applications.
IMPACT
The analysis highlighted four potential targets leading to the initiation of formal due diligence processes for potential acquisition or investment. A finalized deal was expected within 90 days.
